Dr. Dorrance Kennedy Intro
Dr. Dorrance Kennedy is a native of New Orleans, LA. He is a graduate of Hampton University. Dr. Kennedy received his Master of Social Work degree from Southern University and the Doctor of Education degree from Fayetteville State University. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who was employed for several years as a public school social worker in Louisiana, Illinois, and Missouri.
Dr. Kennedy has been a professor of social work at several universities. He is the founder of Empower Your Purpose, an organization dedicated to transforming individuals, families, institutions, and communities. Over the last 20 years, he has spoken to a wide variety of audiences in the United States, Africa, and Israel. Dr. Kennedy has also completed training at the United Way Multicultural Leadership Program and the Institute for Community Leadership.

Family Therapy: Dr. Kennedy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years of experience in counseling individuals and families. He specializes in working with married couples.
